Meow…Katie Couric has a catfight on her hands.  The super cute little reporter has raised the ire of independent bloggers from around the world after a scathingly nasty email was sent from CBS Headquarters that insults everyone worldwide, saying they don’t know anything (basically).  I guess even CBS has idiots on staff.

You might recall poor Dan Rather got his little ass kicked after bloggers removed the covers on his little inconsistent piece of reality.  Dan is now busy with his lawsuit against CBS.

Meanwhile, Katie, cute as a button, is still in Iraq, and I hope she is taking cover! I’d sure hate to see that cute butt kicked!

A majority of public donations to poliitical candidates seems to have gone to the local bar to buy drinks for those candidates and their friends.

I guess they didn’t think these funds would get tracked, but Attorney General John Noseworthy (what any amazingly accurate name, eh?) has uncovered this scandal, and it looks like it will net dozens of political figures on “the rock”.

Newfoundland still remains the friendliest damn place I have ever seen.

Wen Mengjie, a guy that ran the computer group at the Agriculture Bank of China, has been executed.  He apparently had a lot of money, and it made people ask questions.  When investigated, suppliers complained of kickback requests in order to do business.

Since everything in China depends on what THE Party wants you to do, it must have been clearly communicated for them to testify.  After all, complaining in China normally gets you locked up or killed.

Obviously, Wen didn’t make friends with the right people.  If he had the right connections, surely no one would have noticed.

It’s probably common knowledge that the World Bank is rotten.  Anywhere where money flows like that, you attract the snakes.  BTW, for anyone that is new to the world and wants to know how it all got so screwed up, spend a weekend reading Paris 1919: Six Months That Changed The World - it will make your head spin, but get you up to speed, pronto.

But we are here to highlight someone that seems to be non-corrupt.  Someone that seems to care about doing the right thing.  Heck, she might even care about others! Strange.

Suzanne Rich Folsom is the director of Institutional Integrity over at the World Bank, and from what we are hearing, she is doing a very good job.  This is such a strange thing, we think you should spend 2 minutes and read about her.

The Honorable Larry Craig (R-Idaho), the senator who was convicted for asking for homosexual sex in a men’s toilet, might change his mind about resigning. Last weekend, Craig resigned after being turfed off the GOP. Did George Bush whisper something sweet in his ear?

I hear that 10% of the world’s men like it up the bum, but to stick your business card under a stall door and ask “whaddya think of that?” isn’t a good sign of intelligence. Let me get this straight… a public place, with a complete stranger, and you bring out ID so they know who you are.

Smart move, batman.
